Data Cables: Overview

Resistant against biologically decomposable oils! These cables were need due to the growing demand for these industrial applications, especially from the automobile manufactures. Mineral-Oil industry answered the call for this by developing special bio-degradable industrial lubricants, greases and hydraulic fluids. While gentle on the environment, these bio-oils are aggressive and can cause the insulation and jacket materials to swell and decompose. Specially modified polymers are used here for the conductor insulation and the jacket materials. In the laboratory, these special compounds have been subjected to extreme testing according to VDMA requirements and VDE specifications. We have made sure that our cable can resistant bio-oils by doing excessive endurance testing. With our EMC(EMI) shielded type we carry stock for both the flexible and high-flexible versions to cover the demand from our customers at short notice. The BIOFLEX control cables and wires are suitable for use in dry, moist and wet environments as well as for outdoor applications. also resistant to oxygen, ozone, hydrolysis, microbial attacks. Many HELUKABEL Command Cables are suitable for use as a command, measuring and control cable in tool making machinery conveyer system and production lines, in industrial plants and in air conitioning as well as in the steel producing industries.

Heat Resistant Cables: Overview

These cables are used in flexiHumid Areas, use PUR cables! The machinery and plant industries but especially the tool making industries are working particularly with mineral oils, alkalis and aggressive coolant emulsions and under difficult working environmental conditions. Due to these conditions the electrical control cables, data cables as well as cables for trailing chains have to perform to exceptionally high standards. Flexibility, abrasion and oil resistance have to be guaranteed. HELUKABEL is in co-operation with the leading machine and plant industries to develop suitable and application orientated cables. PUR cables are tested among the others, mineral and synthetic oils, cutting oil, coolant emulsions, etc. For the operation in power trailing chains, these cables are tested to multimillion alternating bending cycles. We believe that we can deliver the right cable for your application needs.

HELUKABEL® suppies these indispensable special cables which are used in power stations, iron works, steel-works and rolling mill, in foundries, cement, glass and construction and shipbuilding, in brickworks, kitchen appliances, measuring and heat appliances as well as in many other areas.

  

Depending on their individual temperature limits these cables are split in different resistant classes which cover temperature ranges from -190°C/-310°F to +1200°C/+2192°F. The different insulating classes into which these cables are split, is affected as per VDE 0530 part 1 in the classes Y, A, E, B, F, H, C.

Robot Cables: Overview

Feedback cables are used in machinery and control construction as well as in plant engineering as these enable an excellent transmission of data and signals. The incremental feedback-cables or the position feedback cables transmit the control impulse for positioning and operating characteristics of servomotors. These cables are used as connecting cable for tachometer, brakes and impulse sender for heavy mechanical stresses in plants, machine tools as well as in control and automation technique.   A multitude of applications needs the inset of particular special cable constructions. Corresponding to the customers requirements those cables may be constructed with different stranding elements and cross-sections of the cable. In this case we are speaking about combination or hybrid cables. Application technical reasons may require using different insulating materials, choosing special stranding types or special shielding, for example multiple or mixed shielding. Even a combination with coaxial cables is possible.

They are designed for use in power drag chains, handling equipment, robotics, tooling machinery, processing and manufacturing machinery.
