Application
These HELUCOM~pact fibre optic cables are set apart by extremely simple assembly and a high-tensile and rodent-proof
design. Around stranded loose buffers and filler elements is a composite of glass yarns and swelling fleece with properties
that make the cable rodent·proof, strain relieving and longitudinally wateHight. In addition, these cables are designed gre-
ase-free. Therefore the gel does not therefore need to be wiped off. This design is used primarily underground, in pipes and
ducts where packing density also plays a role.
