Application  
Halogen-free single conductor wires are used for installation in dry environments for lighting fixtures and units where valuable assets are to be protected from further damage resulting from fire. These cables may be installed in, on and beneath plaster, as well as in closed installation ducts. The direct operating voltage is permitted up to 900V against ground when they are used in rail-coaches. For the inner wiring of switch boards and distributors are to be used with an alternating voltage up to 1000V or a direct voltage up to 750V against ground.
CE Approval = The product is conformed with the EC Low-Voltage Directive 2006/95/EG.
Properties  
  • The materials used in manufacture are cadmium-free, contain no silicone and are ree from substances harmful to the wetting properties of lacquers
Tests
  • Self-extinguishing and flame retardant according to VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1 (equivalent DIN VDE 0472 Part 804 test method B)
  • Ozone resistant according to EN 60811-2-1 or HD 505.2.1
  • Smoke density according to VDE 0482 Part 1034-1+2, HD 606, DIN EN 61034-1+2 / IEC 61034-1+2, BS 7622 Part 1+2 (equivalent DIN VDE 0472 Part 816)
